Illinois App at the McKinley Health Fair

Spring has sprung, and we are all here for it. To help us celebrate our best selves, the Illinois App Design and Research Team attended the Annual Health Fair, hosted by McKinley’s Special Populations Program last week. This event was just one of many excellent opportunities to visit with students, campus organizations, and our Champaign-Urbana community.

The table at the Health Fair was staffed by Ch’nel Duke (UX Designer), Natalie Helregel (UX Designer), Vanessa Burgett (UX Researcher), Rijha Kamran, William Sullivan, and Jake Fava (UX Researcher). The Health Fair brought lots of students to our table where we had some really insightful conversations about how they use the app in their daily lives.

If you didn’t get a chance to pick up one of the information cards about the latest wellness features on the Illinois app, you’re in luck. I’ve got all the information you need right here. If you want some freebies like stickers, then don’t forget to stop by our table at the next event (stay tuned for updates) and let us know what you think of the Illinois app!

Participating in the Annual Health Fair was a truly inspiring experience, and we eagerly anticipate attending more events like this in the future. Any time we are presented with the opportunity to showcase the wellness features of the Illinois app and connect with students, we are so pleased with the responses and experiences that are shared with us. We hope to continue promoting the many wellness resources that our university provides to support the well-being of our entire campus community. Catch us next time you see us or send us some feedback about the Illinois app today!
