How To Set Up Favorites in the Illinois App
The Illinois app has so many features to explore, it can be a little overwhelming at first. The Favorites screen is a customizable space where you can add, remove, and reorder any collection of items throughout the app that you choose. Once you set up your Favorites, you can make the Illinois app do exactly what you want it to do.
Navigate Your Favorites Screen
The first time you open the Illinois app and sign in, you may notice that a lot of features are listed under your Favorites. You can customize this list so that it is tailored to your unique needs.
- Tap the colored star next to any item to quickly remove it from the Favorites screen.
- You may include however many or few items you would like on your Favorites screen.
The stars are colored according to their status on your Favorites:
● Orange – Favorite
● Gray – One item in this Favorite section is not marked as a Favorite
Some Favorite sections, such as the Wallet, include multiple items. Swipe left to scroll through these sections and view each item that is marked as a Favorite within it.
Add New Items to Favorites
- Tap Browse to view a list of all features and feature sets in the Illinois app.
- Tap the colored star next to any item to add it or remove it from your Favorites. Any item on the Illinois app with a star next to it can be added or removed from your Favorites.
- The stars are colored according to their status on your Favorites:
- Orange – Favorite
- Gray – One item in this Favorite section is not marked as a Favorite
- White – Not a Favorite
Customize Your Favorites
- Tap Customize to open a collapsed view of your Favorites.
- Tap the colored star next to any item on this list to add it to or remove it from your Favorites. The stars are colored according to their status on your Favorites:
- Orange – Favorite
- White – Not a Favorite
- Tap and hold (long press) any item to reorder it on your list of Favorites. Drag the item up or down to bring it closer to the top or bottom of your list.
- Tap Save when you are finished customizing your Favorites. Your Favorites screen will now reflect the arrangement you customized.
